The Arthur & Sarah Ludwick Emergency Care Pavilion
Formed in 1968, some five years before FPH actually opened, The Foothill Presbyterian Hospital Auxiliary provides members the opportunity to help their community and their hospital by donating volunteer hours or helping annually with several different fund-raising endeavors that benefit the hospital.
For more than 200 members of the Hospital Auxiliary, the service opportunities are varied and rewarding, including assignments that include:
- The Hospital Reception Desk
- Surgery Desk
- Post Anesthesia Care Unit
- Nursing Floors
- The Newborn Inn (Perinatal Unit)
- Chaplains
- Clerical Areas
Fund-raising assignments may include:
- The Annual Auxiliary Home Tour
- Bridge Parties
- Craft Sales
- The Hospital Lobby Shop
- Scholarship Committee
- Home Volunteer Programs
- Special Events for The Foothill Foundation
Total volunteer hours reported since the hospital opened in 1973 exceeds 1 Million!
To date, FPH Auxiliary efforts have contributed more than $1 million for hospital medical equipment and building needs, including these and other projects:
